Papier mache is a recycled and repurposed product of outdated newspapers & discarded papers. It is eco-friendly, biodegradable, and contributes to a sustainable environment.
Papier mache literally means “chewed paper”, “pulped paper”, or “mashed paper” . We use the traditional pulp method in which paper is left in the water at least overnight to soak and then churned mechanically until the paper breaks down to a pulp. The excess water is drained, an adhesive is added to paste, which is molded and sculpted to beautiful shapes manually and dried naturally. Papier-Mâché products are used for indoor beautification and dry storage. Papier-Mâché products can’t be used for water or liquid materials.
